The article substantiates the idea that the social representations of the heads of preschool educational institutions about the psychological safety of the educational environment are an important factor in the development of a system of work on the formation of a psychologically safe educational environment of kindergarten, which acts as a significant condition for the emotional well-being of pupils and teachers. The purpose of the study is to study the idea of kindergarten managers about psychological safety, its components and the role of subjects of the educational environment in their formation. The results of the study of the structure of social representations of preschool educational institution managers about the psychological safety of the educational environment obtained using questionnaires, content analysis and P. Verges methodology is presented.
