The article presents an analysis of the patriotic education of youth in the Arctic region of the Kola Arctic on the example of the training of children and adolescents in the state regional educational and methodological Center for military-patriotic education of youth “Avangard” and in the commercial Center for civil-patriotic education “To live in the North”. Both Centers were opened on the initiative of the Governor of the Murmansk region to implement the idea of patriotic education, cohesion of the population, preservation of historical memory and ensuring the sovereignty and security of citizens of the Russian state. The negative and positive aspects of the work of the Centers have been identified, shortcomings and ways to eliminate them have been identified.

The vital use of modern high-tech methods of treating brain tumors in children, such as surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, has led to a significant increase in the life of young patients. However, the localization of the tumor process, as well as the high toxicity of the treatment methods used, leads to a high percentage of various speech and cognitive disorders that can persist for a long period of time. The article considers the aspect of speech therapy in the conditions of the pediatric oncological treatment and rehabilitation scientific center. Correctional and developmental work is a necessary part of the third stage of medical rehabilitation in children with a neuro-oncological profile.

The article reveals the essence and content of military-patriotic education in the Training Center for youth of the Arctic region «IN THE NORTH — TO LIVE». The article presents a system of training young people for service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which includes nine modules, namely: a historical and theoretical module; a module of the basics of sociocultural, economic progressive development of the Arctic region; a module of the basics of initial tactical training; a module of the basics of fire training; a module of the basics of first aid and tactical medicine; a module of physical training; the module of the basics of drill training; leisure module; the module of the basics of emergency prevention, as well as conducting a control lesson. The result of this work is to foster a sense of patriotism among young people, love for the Motherland, the formation of a positive attitude towards the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the upcoming military service; to increase the level of physical fitness of young people; to strengthen the somatic health and mental stability of young people.

This article examines the effectiveness of the developed target pedagogical program for the military-patriotic education of Suvorov residents of the Moscow Suvorov Military School, which in turn is confirmed by the results of the pedagogical experiment. The analysis of the results shows a stable and progressive increase in the level of formation of military-patriotic qualities in the control and experimental groups, however, the estimated indicators in the experimental groups are much higher. This circumstance allows us to assert the greatest effectiveness of the application of the Target pedagogical program in comparison with the existing plan of educational work of the Moscow Suvorov Military School.
