The article substantiates the need to implement a pedagogical model of monitoring the progress of students of military universities in the conditions of online foreign language teaching. The approaches of modern scientists to the definition of such concepts as «model», «pedagogical modeling» are analyzed. Based on the considered technologies and types of monitoring the progress of students, a model of monitoring students of military universities in foreign language classes in online learning has been compiled. Also, as part of the work, an assessment of the effectiveness of the developed model was carried out within the framework of experimental work with students of military universities.
