The article discusses the search for indicators of psychological health of children and young people. Psychological health needs to be objectively assessed in an unstable society. Physical culture provides opportunities, along with the use of self-regulation methods in the form of ideo-reflex exercises, to solve the problem of overcoming the consequences of stress. The effectiveness of using such means to reduce anxiety and increase the social activity of schoolchildren is shown. It is proposed to include the section “Anti-stress training of students” in the physical education programs of educational organizations.
