Russian teachers experience a large amount of stress which often results in the reduction of their work engagement and causes burnout. The issue of preventing professional deformation of a teacher is substantial for science as well as for practice. Tackling this problem requires identifying factors related to burnout. The goal of this study is to examine a number of factors related to teacher burnout using a mixed design of qualitative and quantitative methods. As a result of the study, the following factors were identified: personal, organizational and geopolitical factors.
