The article reveals the State demographic and family policy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), provides regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of S(Y) on family policy. The authors of the article examine the demographic and social and pedagogical features of the educational potential of the family. The works of researchers who have studied the national characteristics of the family culture of the peoples of the North-East of Russia are analyzed.

The article gives an idea of the genesis of the formation of the ideology and scientific foundations of the state family policy as an independent scientific branch in the 1990s. The author analyzes the stages of the formation of its current paradigm, the inertial factors that hindered its implementation. The author’s concept of family policy, methodological approaches to the development of its strategy, subject, principles, implementation mechanisms, and legal foundations are presented.

The study of the communicative abilities of high school students (on two samples: n = 145 and n = 62) shows that depending on the level of communicative development (the ability to autonomy in communication) and the type of communicative environment (educational, family, friendly), they will be characterized by different types of communicative (agent-environmental) interactions.
