The article presents research data on the career orientations of part-time teacherstudents. An analysis of domestic and foreign sources shows that part-time students are a diverse group. Comparison of the results of diagnostic testing of full-time and part-time students using E. Schein’s methodology shows that both groups are predominantly oriented towards service, stability, and integration, but these orientations are less pronounced among part-time students. In addition, indicators of service and professional competence orientations are related to work experience in the profession and future professional plans.
