The article notes the lack of elaboration of the problem of civil and patriotic education of schoolchildren and students at this stage of the country’s development. There is a special responsibility of teachers and psychologists for such education, which has noticeably decreased over the past decades of “pseudo-democratic” reforms. The problems of development of worldview pluralism in the conditions of relative stability of society and the international situation, as well as in the conditions of aggravation of international and domestic political relations are considered. Different levels of manifestation of ideological contradictions are distinguished: intrapersonal contradictions, ideological splits in the family, in communication with friends and colleagues, in organizations, in society as a whole, in communication with representatives of other cultures. A generalized model of the worldview orientations of the individual (social groups and entire peoples) is proposed, which allows a better understanding of the essence of the existing disagreements and the main reasons for the mutual misunderstanding of opponents.
