In the conditions of the modern world, when the term “security” is filled with vital meaning more than ever, society should make maximum efforts to adapt a person to the conditions of the technosphere and form risk-oriented thinking in him. A significant amount of this work falls on the teaching staff, who should teach the younger generation the basic rules of safe existence in modern realities, since it is with the training of future teachers of housing and communal services that a long and continuous path of teaching the population measures to prevent and protect against the dangers of our environment begins. The article deals with the problems of improving the quality of the subject-profile training of a bachelor of education in the field of life safety. As a solution, the author suggests using the potential of extracurricular activities of students to form professional skills in the noxological and pedagogical fields. The examples of the activities of student organizations given in the article show their relationship with the results of the development of educational material in the process of academic activity and the impact of specialized extracurricular activities on the further employment of students in the specialty.
