Professional orientation of gifted teenagers presupposes application of methods, that take into account social and psychological characteristics of the given group. The aim of the investigation is to reveal the influence of career guidance game on the formation and development of professional plans of gifted teenagers. 65 senior pupils, who study at a centre for gifted children, took part in the investigation. They were divided into a control and experimental group. A career guidance game was conducted with the gifted teenagers from the second group. Before and after the experiment, a psycho-diagnostic evaluation of both groups was performed with the use of N. S. Pryazhnikov’s questionnaire “Personal Professional Perspective”. Two non-parametric (Wilcoxon’s signed-rank and Pearson’s chisquared) were applied to set the differences. It is established that the career guidance game contributes to the formation and development of professional plans of gifted adolescents.
