The article reveals the importance of the process of educating political culture among military personnel and employees of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation and its role in ensuring the national security of the state in modern conditions. Based on the analysis of modern realities, it is concluded that it is necessary to develop a system for educating the political culture of servicemen and employees of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation within the framework of military-political work carried out in the troops.

The article analyzes the education of the political culture of military personnel of the PRC armed forces. Based on a generalization of foreign regulatory documents and scientific literature, the characteristic features of educating the political culture of military personnel of the People’s Liberation Army of China have been identified. Methods used in the article: theoretical and practical analysis of pedagogical literature, normative documents, synthesis, generalization. Result: the experience of instilling political culture among PLA military personnel is summarized.
