Individual Characteristics of Teachers and Their Role in the EducatingProcess

Annotation

The article provides a description of three personality models that were used to study the personality characteristics of teachers and their relationship with other psychological variables. Empirical data obtained in the course of the conducted research are presented, which indicate the important role of personal characteristics of teachers in the process of teaching and education, as well as the role of these characteristics for the well-being of teachers themselves. At the end of the article, conclusions are presented and prospects for further empirical research are outlined.
