The article presents the results of a survey of teachers in five regions of the Russian Federation, conducted as part of a study of the realities and prospects of civic-patriotic education in school. It is obvious that the professional competence of teachers in the methods and means of such education, as well as their own ideological position regarding citizenship and patriotism, are the most important factors in the success of educational influences and the formation of moral ideas of modern schoolchildren.

The article discusses the phenomena of procrastination and Internet addiction of students, possible causes of their occurrence, features of the relationship between academic procrastination and Internet addiction, which are currently not sufficiently disclosed, that determines the need for further development of the stated problem. The purpose of the work is to analyze the problem under study, to identify the degree of severity and the relationship between the two phenomena in students. Based on the results of the study, the authors conclude that there is a correlation between them, the severity of which depends on the type of procrastination, and Internet addiction is associated with altruism.

In this article, the authors point to a change in pedagogical reality in the field of teaching subjects from the field of “Art”. Teachers and politicians put forward innovative theses about the purpose of children’s musical institutions, however, the main psychological and pedagogical aspects, in particular, musical education, are often ignored. The authors emphasize the need to understand the goals of the above schools as institutions of additional education, that is, the creative development of children with different levels of abilities and musical inclinations. The authors support their vision with concrete examples from their own pedagogical practice. As part of the work with the main contingent of pupils, it is proposed to use innovative methods for mastering musical notation and other musical skills. According to the authors, the education of gifted musicians requires: acceleration of the educational process; strictly systematic approach; enhanced monitoring of the results and effectiveness of the development of the program.

The author demonstrates the shift of educational priorities in a modern university from traditional ones, based on imitation, to new ones, based on creating conditions for the development of a self-valuable, creatively active, highly cultured student personality. The article demonstrates a new concept of professional education of students at the pedagogical university, defines the educational space of a pedagogical university. The author points out the importance of the communicative educational space of a pedagogical university and defines a number of its constituent elements, each of which has its own purpose, functions, content; such elements are: personal, facilitating, and didactic elements. A number of academic disciplines are presented and extracurricular activities are characterized, providing for the creation of a communicative educational space and providing professional communicative education for students. The author also points to methodological approaches that are the basis for the competent organization of the speech educational space of the pedagogical university.

The article reveals the content and operationalization of the concept of “sensitivity to social problems” in the solution of urgent problem situations of modern reality by university students. The authors have made an attempt to describe empirically the criteria and indicators of sensitivity to social problems in modern youth and justify the relevance of studying this phenomenon in connection with the modernization of higher education system and the need for criterion assessment of competencies that determine the readiness of students to conduct professional activities. In this regard, the content of the article considers full-time and distance learning formats as an opportunity to optimize the learning process in the conditions of modern education and as an effective condition for the formation of the university student as a subject of learning.

In the article, the authors reveal the features of multimedia perception, the specifics of the use of digital technologies by school teachers who are ready to implement the educational practice of subject education using reliance on the multimodal perception of multimedia content, the implementation possibilities of which are presented on the example of the resources of the multimedia historical park “Russia — My History”.

Value-target orientations regulate the development of a life position and life programs, the creation of an image of the future, and the prospects for personal development. Biological, psychological and social processes of personality development determine the choice of areas of study, specialties and the success of education in higher educational institutions. The article examines the formation of value-target orientations of students studying under agreements on targeted training. The effectiveness of targeted training is not only the solution of personnel issues, but also the provision of “social lifts” for young people and the prevention of the outflow of young people to work abroad. The task of universities is to get a 100 % result of a professionally and personally formed student who is ready to engage in professional activities at state enterprises. Diagnostics of the value-target orientations of the individual in relation to the professional self-determination of students under the agreement on targeted training was carried out through the questionnaire “Professional self-determination of students”. Questions to students in the questionnaire were divided into several areas in order to analyze learning outcomes, social and psychological support for students, satisfaction with training and information support. Adolescence, conditions and quality of formation of a specialist are factors influencing his professional and civic orientation.

Modern education is designed not so much to give a person a set of ready-made knowledge, social scenarios and a basis for mastering a certain profession, as to provide conditions for personal growth of students, characterized by positive relationships with others, autonomy, purposefulness of life, self-acceptance. Studies by domestic and foreign authors indicate that the psychological well-being of students is mediated by the influence of factors of different levels and content. At the same time, special attention is paid to environmental factors, and in particular, the type of educational environment. Based on the study, which was attended by students, teachers, administration and parents of 12 educational organizations, it was revealed that the type of educational environment determines the characteristics of psychological well-being of adolescents, characterized by prevailing mood, self-satisfaction and attitude, satisfaction with relationships with peers, teachers and school life.

Changes in modern society affect all aspects of a person’s life and require a rethinking of approaches, including in the educational sphere, to the personality of a teacher. The acceleration of the pace of life, problematic moments of interpersonal interactions in the conditions of the pandemic have exacerbated the symptoms of emotional overload, chronic fatigue syndrome, especially in specialists whose professions are associated with constant interaction with people. The professional activity of teachers assumes emotional saturation in situations of high responsibility, multitasking, high actualization and return of cognitive and physical energy, which provokes the development of emotional burnout syndrome. In this connection, the study of the specifics of professional deformations of a teacher in the conditions of changed requirements and challenges of society becomes an urgent necessity both from a psychological and economic point of view. An interdisciplinary approach to the study of this issue allows us to take into account all aspects of the process of prevention and correction of professional deformities of a teacher. The article analyzes the psychological and pedagogical aspects of professional deformations of a teacher: content characteristics, symptoms of emotional burnout, factors affecting the process of occurrence of this condition in teachers; conditions, situations of professional activity that contribute to the emergence of emotional burnout; the results of the approbation of the author’s program for the prevention and correction of the burnout syndrome of university teachers are presented.

The relevance is justified by the fact that the purpose of the study is to identify the level of productivity of subjects of education in the professional, educational and scientific environment of the university, the development and justification of the psychological and pedagogical foundations of productive activity of subjects of education has been achieved. The hypothesis is proved that the productive activity of the subjects of education will be effective if: the levels of productive interaction of the teacher with students are revealed, which represent the possibility of modeling the success of joint creative and self-creative activity on the basis of productivity in the educational environment. Sample: 3440 people, including 290 teachers of higher education and 3150 students of psychological and pedagogical, economic, information technology, service, technical, agricultural specialties, as well as specialties in physical culture and sports (18–60 years) for the period 2001–2022. Results: for all the studied indicators of interaction in the classroom, the average level of productivity was revealed. The exception are the two indicated indicators of productive interaction in the scientific environment of the university, developed at a low level of productivity. Therefore, the development of scientific schools in a professional environment is an important factor that ensures the productivity of interaction between subjects of education. Conclusions: Professional and educational indicators of teachers’ behavior culture and indicators of interaction of educational subjects in the classroom are developed and manifest themselves at an average level of productivity according to methods 1 and 2. According to method 3, it was found that two indicators of productive interaction in the scientific environment of the university are developed at a low level of productivity, and the remaining indicators are at an average level. Therefore, the development of scientific schools in a professional environment is an important factor that ensures the productivity of interaction between subjects of education.

The article discusses the psychological and pedagogical foundations of the theory and practice of specific pedagogical activity of teachers of humanities of educational institutions of higher education (university teachers, high school teachers, humanities teachers), which received the author’s name “step-by-step method of preparation for classes”. The key problem, purpose, main features and results of the activity of university teachers at each stage of this methodology as an algorithmized educational technology are revealed. The novelty of the content is due to the formation of psychological images (models) and material products among higher school teachers at each stage, ensuring the effectiveness of teaching and learning, training and education, and professional education of students.

In this article, the authors analyzed the theoretical and practical approaches to the forms and methods of organizing students’ research activities. The focus is on the psychological and pedagogical conditions of preparation for the formation of competencies for future scientific work. The authors also considered strategies for developing competencies for the profession chosen by students. As a result, the features of the organization of research activities in the conditions of modern secondary and higher educational institutions were systematized.
